i think he's a good producer, he knows how to get the people going. But unlike most producers on here his music is catered to an audience because he's in the public view, he has to make what the majority of people want to hear not just dubheads or it won't sell

So Skrillex is, in your opinion, good, but, in your opinion, doesn't make any good tunes?
I don't see your point. I have tremendous respect for the Rolling Stones and I would say they're good, but I don't LIKE a single one of their songs. The same goes for metallica. They are clearly talented; but I fucking hate their music.

To me, good is just an opinion. I couldn't say somebody was good if I disliked all their output. There's having the talent, and then executing it. Way I see it, if a footballer is talented, but everytime he's go out onto the pitch, he's horse shit, it doesn't matter how talented he is. Hard to explain, but whatever, just an opinion bro, no fuss and no fight.

I wasn't trying to come off as fussy; sorry if I did. I completely see what you're saying. I see good as an application of talent (basically what you said), but I feel some amount of detachment from the term. As in there's plenty of songs that I hear that I see as "good" but to me that's not necessarily synonymous with me liking it. I don't always like a good song, just like I don't always dislike a bad song.
