Yeah, when anyone describes a melodic piece of music to me, like a melody. :6:
Nah but seriously lullabies (for example) are always describe as melodic, in my experience anyway.

I love Basic Channel and I've used the word haters.

Admittedly it was in the sentence "Don't use the word haters"
My name is Dom and I like making ambientish music and drinking tea. Nice to meet you.

How the fuck am I going to mack* on some girl** in a club saying that I'm a (failed) dubstep producer, when the first response will 'ooh like skrillex' or 'is that the stuff on Pop Idol' or WHATEVER CUNTY FASHIONABLE MAINSTREAM TING IS THE IN TING*** NOW.

¬¬¬¬¬head explodes

* I'm shit with girls.
** I wouldn't be macking on some girl who liked Pop Idol.

One of the only mentions I've seen by him is:
Skrillex wrote:When people say I ‘JUMPED ON THE DUBSTEP BANDWAGON’, I just want to say, ‘Whoa, whoa, rewind’ – there was no fucking wagon when I was making dubstep. I was doing patios once a month: a shitty PA and 40 friends playing dubstep and whatever the hell else we wanted. We weren’t making money, except maybe $40 on drink tickets. It’s crazy where these songs have taken us. Anything can happen!

From a interview with Dazed if anyone wants to know. :)

wasn't he producing electro house for a while too? he doesn't seem to be doing that anymore id say that's a good indication of his bandwagon jumping

This is a direct result of all you fassies who call Flux Pavillion, Skrillex, Doctor P and all that other related brostep SHIT, 'Dubstep'. Ruined it for everyone. I don't even know who 'you fassies' are, but when I find out, I'll rant about it online.
