and the main bass in this, first one on the drop
Megalodon is just getting ridiculously good recently
Would love to know how to get the dynamics he has to his sounds, presumably he uses a lot of selective reverb, but can never get my verb that thick :L
Posted this in how to make that sound but got no answer

I hardly think some halftime wobble is destroying dubstep. Got a really rude, minimal feel. Reminds me of old Monsta/Jakes/Some of Skreams better tearout...

OP... megalodon is a THEY, not a him, its Cory Sinjin and Phil T. Actually didnt know people listen to these guys haha, thats sick, I only know them through phz.

Finally, its all about the groove less then the actual patches, use alot of envelope controls, really focus on getting something going that makes the head knod in halftime, from there nearly any patch you put to it will sound good. Most importantly when designing the patches though, aim for simplicity, dont over-unison/distort them too much, you dont want things to get too obnoxiously 'big' , lots of smooth lowpass automation...

But seriously if you want to get that sound use the Chrome wavetable and decrease the pitch to -24.00

'Spongebob' came out in 2007 and it's harsher than what's been posted in this thread. And I really dig the choon.
