Personal ProTools discoveries...

Post by Rockedoutguitarist » Sat Apr 21, 2012 3:54 am

Well... Finally got some serious time and got a lot done on some editing. :W: So got a couple different wobble/ wub sounds...

1. LPF Cutoff modulation
2. Mod speed with mod set to WAH
3. An awkward combo of the two

All of this using Vacuum's "Juno 106 bass" layered up with some tweaks... I've automated the LPF cutoff knob, arpegiator, ARP speed, MOD speed and MOD type. Basically, depending on the mod wheel's setting (which I can't seem to automate) if you set to WAH and precisely automate WAH speed you get nice wobble. Needs some layers and an unknown touch to get nasty though... :?

Also dove into PT'S drum machine called "BOOM" and figured out several ways to write with it, got a solid beat down and a good bass/ lead lines, cut in a clip from inception that I'm going to glitch up and BOOM!!! Gotta write the drop tomorrow... :h:

Any bro tools users or those interested hit me up! Any ideas?
