In luv with Cableguys plugs
Just wondering if anyone has checked out the cableguys plugins at all. They are absolutely insane, most of all the midishaper, which allows you to control parameters of another plugin with custom lfo shapes and modulations extending into audio rates. Now that's smart.

Hmm... I ask cuz im thinking about switching from reason to logic.. But tbh I'll probably just rewire reason instead of trying to learn something new.... Although some of filters out there look amazing...

Think there were problems, maybe resolved with midishaper and logic. Some inherent deficiency in logic's midi routing capabilities.
Re: In luv with Cableguys plugs
Can't you write in reason and have the sound in logic

Re: In luv with Cableguys plugs
wha? Midishaper is a plugin, doesn't work in reason, and I don't know about logic. Think I'm misunderstanding you.
Re: In luv with Cableguys plugs
You said there's were problems with logics midi routing so I said couldn't you write in reason and have the audio come out of logic

Re: In luv with Cableguys plugs
midishaper is a plugin that just sends midi modulation data to other plugins... are you suggesting send the midi from logic into reason... hmm interesting. Don't know if logic can do that, wish jakob would show up and resolve this.
Re: In luv with Cableguys plugs
Yeah that's what I meant I don't think so now that I think about it because reason would be the slave application

Re: In luv with Cableguys plugs
Im' on ableton and to control lives native devices you need to use a virtual midi port does anyone know a good one for pc, i believe IAC is only mac
For the logic to reason rewire i would thing that you could use midishaper to modulate parameters in reason, but just like live, you might need to route it through a virtual midi port?
