Live 8.3 Crash Attack and Postin Up
Have all you ableton live users upgraded to live 8.3 yet. I'm a little late on gettin it but... but has anyone noticed live CRASHING ALL THE TIME. I counted 5 times today, along with my fucking fast track pro shitting all over itself all the time its just a little too much to handle. Anyway ive also decided to start posting more on dsf and get more involved, I feel like I come on here quite a lot and lurk around which is fine, but I want to start contributing back, so for the zero people who care, i will be postin in the future, and for everyone who doesn't care... well then call me names...
but for real has live been crashing lots after the update for you guys too?

Live crashes all the time, just generally, doesn't it?

I havnt had any issues with 8.3. I think VSTs and memory play a big part with ableton crashing. I recently upgraded my computer to find memory (or lack there of) being the main issue. Some pirated material will also mess with your DAW big time causing crash conflicts.

I have live 8.2.2 and it doesn't crash unless one of my Vsts gives out. I do have a problem however with my RAM usage because its a 32 bit program(Nice going ableton people). Really annoying... hurry up live 9.DiRTyHAiRy wrote:I havnt had any issues with 8.3. I think VSTs and memory play a big part with ableton crashing. yeah i noticed that when i'm using some vsts ableton is more likely to crash even in the 8.2.2 version, for instance if i have alchemy in a project i can pretty much guarantee a crash during that session, and its a shame because alchemy is a diesel synth.
