memories come back of most of the night now. Some funny things happened.
yeh i have a vague recollection of this happening

was it someone we knew mutually or something???
You knew my mate Theo who I've known since the start of primary school. You diplomatically tried to say that he talked a lot of bollocks without offending me. I completely agreed and then went rambling on about how he's always been the biggest bullshitter in the world and used to try to act like a badman all the time till he realised we'd never stop taking the piss out of him for it and about how his parents house has like a pool table and a ping pong table but he'd still try be all "street" or some shit and that if you see him again wind him up cause he deserves it.

Forgot to tell you about how he used to get migraines from wanking too much and he cried when he was arrested for drink driving. hahaha EDIT: Don't mention that in front of him if you see him ever again though, would cause endless trouble with me.

(don't judge my mates on him by the way. Not sure any of us would be mates with him if we hadn't had like 16 years to get to know him already, he is sound honest.).
FUCK YES that was it hahahahahaha

i didn't wana call him out straight away for thinkin he's a prick :cornlol:
Man if you had just come out and said he was a prick to me or most of my mates we would just find it fucking hilaroius.

I think having a decent job working for Disney and having a serious girlfriend may finally be calming him down though

I can now confirm that system and jury service are the exact opposite occasions.

I slept like 5 hours after system, and 5 last night...I just spent 2 hours in a courtroom feeling more fucked than at system. Shit time to have to try and get into a "lets take life seriously" mindset.

On a SERIOUS note though (see what i did there?) systems a fucking good night innit? Got to be honest and say Id prefer a little more on the meditation vibe (again, stand was just...unbelievable) as the total bass monsters blurred into each other at times, especially with the system sounding generally ropey, and occasionaly almost unlistenable. Not complaining in the SLIGHTEST though, they said they were having problems, theyre new to this side of the game (i presume?) and its only going to get better. Now for a list of AMAZING moments.

Bare mala tracks
Bare loefah tracks
Bare coki tracks
Kalawanji

...and stand. Not sure if I mentioned that.

Was no one else surprised by some of the tunes played from last system? Lean fwd, distances rmx of changes, skreams roots dyed dark remix...I dunno, expected to hear very few tunes again. Seems odd to me to drop lean fwd again when blue notez has yet to pop its system cherry! Mind you, I think system for mala and vivek is literally "we have a rig, and were going to bring a pile of vinyl and have a mix". I think theyre putting less thought into it than I am! Great night.

Only briefly met a few people (kay, badger, wolf...), but didn't feel the need to say hi to everyone  . If anyone was wondering I was the guy with a maroon snapback and a ridiculous moustache.

Pretty sure I recognised loads of you, and you seemed to be having fun anyway. :corndance:

Wish I'd have brought some smokeables, but it was awesome never the less.

Highlights for me... Way Mi Defend VIP, Stand Against War (had lighter up beginning to end pretty much :6: ), Ruffage, Miracles Remix, Kalawanji, Mud, Soundboy...TOO MANY

Everyone must remember this...

I remember having a sit down and one point and telling my girlfriend "you know it's good when your face is vibrating".
The system itself was great though a couple of times could hear the mids and tops distorting. During the reggae warm up, it was super-sweet though.

Seems like the name of the warm-up act was 'Message Music', at least that's the jist I got when VIVEK shouted them out...

Got some videos and photos, so will try and get them up soonish.

Out to the ninjas! :Q:

Oh yeah, I remember asking Kay who you were! You were together with a blonde lady.

Btw, who is the Polish bloke I keep on seeing on facebook? Not that I care too much about national connections, but I'm quite curious to find out :P

Just got back from peaceful Bromley.

What a night!! Was nice meeting you guys! Sadly my mate got vomitted heavily on so we couldn't join the afterparty. Was way too mashed anyway.
Also they played my favourite tune of all time that Little Kirk bit in the begining. BIG

One thing though... if they would just turn that fukn siren down b2b use it less it would be way more pleasant to listen to.

Big ups to Citizen for food and shelter ;-)
