ok so i downloaded massive went to where all my downloads end up i clicked on the massive file it opened extracted a whole bunch of stuff i agreed to the terms of use i clicked on vst plug in to change how the feature will be installed... other options were basic installation for stand alone and rtas plug in for avid systems pro tools etc i picked vst plug ins and hit next.... "install massive application to: (click) change .... C:\programfiles(x86)\Image-line\FL Studio10\Plugins\VST\..... next....... comfirmed where i will install...next....please wait while the native instruments massive setup installs massive.....you have successfully completed massive setup....finish....into FL ...channels add one...more ....refresh...and i get nothing...hope this was detailed enough

that should be correct after you go into channels add one, refresh, fast scan.. massive should show up. Check the list and put a check mark on massive it should open after that, not sure where you went wrong

this seems a little drastic but ts driving me nuts! is there maybe a support number i can call i mean i found one but its for registered users only .... now im not going to buy massive if i cant even get it installed so imi at a dead end ... i have played with the stand alone massive and the presets are awesome! i just want to get it into fl so i can start turnin nobs and get going with this.... btw i seem to have this problem with all vsts that have an installation ..... but the vsts that are just dowload extract files ...like the itchy synths or bit crusher, dblue glitch, i have no problem so it seems to be the ones with an installation

i doubt they have support for the demo, you can always call and try... they are going to tell you that maybe you dont have the correct installation path, that is the only thing i can think of..

is it 32 bit or 64bit?
it sounds like you may have installed the 64bit version into the 32bit folder

have you actually installed the dll file into the vst folder for FL in program files??? chances are you might have downloaded it into a different vst folder or a new vst folder
once you have done that it should just be a case of rescanning the list on FL
the demo does work in DAWs but just for a day or two so you can get the jist of it

call me a noob if you must but i know little about 64 bit or 32 bit and when i downloaded the files went straight to my downloads where everything i download ends up i have extracted the files to my vst folder that didnt work, i moved the download to my vst folder then extracted that didnt work, i i just kept the files in my download folder opened it and ran massive and installed it to my vsts that wat and that didnt work so maybe its the 32 or 64 bit problem but like i said i know little about that have been making music for little over a year now and am just now getting a firm grasp on how things go down so if you could shed some more light on that topic that would be great

It doesn't matter where you download it to or where you install it from.
Go to Start: Right click Computer > Properties
Under 'System', what does it say?

The demo is both 32bit and 64bit, it should automatically install the correct one: http://co.native-instruments.com/index. ... sivepcdemo

For reference x86 is 32bit, and x64 is 64bit.

computer hp (c:) , program files (x86) , image-line , fl studio 10, plugins, vst... this is where i installed it when i opened the massive download and it asked me whre to put it

The '/program files (x86)/' directory path is for when you are installing 32bit files on a 64bit system. Otherwise it's wrong.

Uninstall Massive.
Install it to C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VSTplugins
and/or
In FL Studio settings assign an extra search folder to look for VSTs in and set it to wherever Massive.dll is: http://www.image-line.com/support/FLHel ... tories.htm

i give up! and its a shame because massive is beautiful but i cant figure this out and im tired of smashing my face on the keyboard trying to get the only dubstep synth i can find besides the itchy synths ...... could it be because my fl is cracked? thats the only other thing i can think of other than that does anyone know of any good free synths or just synths that work well in dubstep?
