basically wondering how my mixdowns sound?
where/ how the percussion should be developed?
whether the mids should be brought out more?
any like recommendations to listen to for improvements or ideas?
Cheers so much

I really like the tribal ambience, and all the sounds seem to work well togehter. Difficult to give you useful feedback on the mixdown cos my speakers are on last legs etc, but it sounds ok in that respect to me. As far as the percussion goes, I reckon it's well worth introducing some 16th hats (or similar) to the up the pace at various points and then just be creative with adding and taking away elements, bringing certain parts up in volume slightly (like to think of it as giving the percussion parts a solo) and play about with it until you're happy. Hope that helps.

Sounds atmospheric but tight, only thing I would perhaps consider doing is putting the reverb on the kick as a return channel, and applying a hi pass filter somewhere around 300hz on the return reverb. This will mean that just the top end of the kick will be affected and it will remove some of the mud. Its nit picking though, sounds great as it is on my monitors!
