It's a good feeling of being a part of something bigger than yourself.. even if you have a sub at home, yours ain't pushing 10,000 watts.
kinda silly and slightly off topic, but that's a part of going out that always strikes me when the subs hit. just a sonic phenomenon that no one could pull off alone
never really thought about that, but yeah that makes sense - I guess it would make the nights extra special, because you don't get a full soundsystem at home!

its pretty much the reason to go out for me.. i guess other people are actually social lol
but honestly ever since i was a small child i got really excited over seeing music stuff set up for a concert. like electric guitars and amps and speakers and shit. gets my blood pumping like a fist full of viagra chased down by a redbull
western canada is desolate, we could use a 'joe nice' character.
I'd love to here Livin Different on a system
oh and i listened to Mud with Dr Dre Beats....does that count ?
I found a way to get piece of mind for years and left the hell alone, turn a deaf ear to the cellular phone

America problems.

So jealous of that. Those of us in the states will never get to hear that stuff on a proper rig.
no offense but dont speak for the entire country. i first heard Mud at a party like 6 years ago. i know i'm spoiled living near NYC but sheit, that kind of statement just furthers the myth that americans dont know shit about shit
I never would have got into electronic music if it wasn't for watching it in a massive arena with hundreds of people. Outlook totally changed my attitude, was blown away, ever since then been obsessed, started making things.
It's all about the live shows really... that's the fun part. When you see something live it just conveys much more emotion, a sense of sharing a moment with people that love the same tunes, same acts etc. Never got that seeing wobbly dubstep personally, just people moshing.. horrible vibes, no sense of emotive drive in that music at all, but for other genres a live show is best. Seeing Rustie and Hudson Mohawke back to back at Outlook changed my taste somehow, so good.

13 year old problems.
I do feel for Sonika, by the time he's old enough to reach in the US....Dubstep will be long gone from any place near him.
I am fortunate enough that this is the first dance music I ever got into and was around 18 when I get in, meaning I didn't have the problem of not attending raves. Hearing this music on a system though has totally changed my view on dance music forever...I have appreication for Techno, House, Drum and Bass, Jungle now. Before I didn't get it.
ehh... there will be something good
there will be a lot of shite too, but some things never change
shit, at the way things are looking right now imho, Sonika's gonna wind up being one of the people playing proper vibes out by the time he's 18. That's 5 solid years to put into your craft, he's begun earlier than Skream and them
