Re: Pokémon Compilation :: Red/Blue/Yellow (Join Now!)
thats a great idea
but i hardly believe you get 151 different tunes only from the dubstepforum though considering some people really want to do only one pokemon so you maybe need alteast 180 entries to fill in every pokemon
what i personaly would love to hear is like an genreless compilation like dubstep metal funk songwriter etc so its totally unexpected how the next tune sounds
really great idea though

Re: Pokémon Compilation :: Red/Blue/Yellow (Join Now!)
Yeah, I'm going on the premise that we won't get 151 tracks, probably like 15 or so. I mean getting 151 people to make tracks is a task enough, let alone getting 151 tracks worth releasing. It would be insane to do that though, but be a huge project. Would need lots of bedroom producers working on that one, lol. Still an idea though.BudSpencertron wrote:thats a great idea

And yes, this compilation is genreless.

Re: Pokémon Compilation :: Red/Blue/Yellow (Join Now!)
I'm not really sure yet, not entirely sure of how big I really plan for this to be. Don't wanna spend a month or two dedicated to this and have nobody really care. I think we'll just release the best of what we get (hopefully around 10-15 tracks), and if that's well received then I'd have no problem *trying* to get all 151, but again, that seems like more effort than it's really worth.BudSpencertron wrote:i really want this to happen haha the artist one was incredible

I'm trying to transcend the novelty aspect of this and get some good tunes together, and the odds of getting 151 good tunes is well.. very unlikely. Not to mention the download size on a 151 track album (even if some tunes were very short) would be massive.

Re: Pokémon Compilation :: Red/Blue/Yellow (Join Now!)
torrent/dropbox would be ideal distribution platform if it hits all 151
i didn't read far enough is this supposed to just be dubstep or is it free for all genre wise? (i picked psyduck so i could do a psy/goa track heh)
