Had to post this as it brought back sooooo many memories.
C&C had one of the best soundtracks I think I've ever heard. I mourn over the loss of Westwood the Gods of RTS

EDIT: Found out you can literally download the whole game from here.

Used to play this game as a kid just for the music


Honorable Metroid mention. Fucking hard game on NES; good music though.
GBA version (metroid: first mission) has good versions of the music too.
