Blawan in the Boiler Room

Post by Bo Diggidy »

It's only just finished, but did anyone else watch it? ........FUCK. The chat was going crazy for id's and I'm definitely inclined to agree, so many fucking tunes in that set. Plus some phenomenal fist pumping from the man himself at the end :h:

Shit missed that one! Saw him recently at hessle's latest fabric night... was an excellent set! Kind of a shame the crowd of new eras seemed a bit bemused with techno...

yeah man it was HUGE! That Blawan track has been floating around for a bit but it's unreleased, along with a large majority of the tracks in his set. He's got a few releases on the way, some with the Analogue Cops, and i'll be getting each and every one of them!

I have no idea how Blawan makes his production sound so natural and realistic.
In no way does it sound like it's made on a computer, and I'm not talking about it having that "analogue sound", it's just that all of the drums and instrumentation sounds like it's played live.

I know he records his drum hits by himself, but there must be some kind of secret wizard processing as well i the box.
