They are both horrendous, no flow, no catchy elements, just some poorly manipulated "purple" sounds with third rate grime bars over them on the second track.

I haven't heard Jokers album, but I suppose if it's anything like this I shouldn't be too worried about that. Utter crap 12".
are you listening to the same music? Thats kinda tragic you feel that way
Yes, I am listening to the same music, but the fact that you have a Z-audio/sparx avatar does say enough. Not about you as a person, but it goes a long way to explain our difference in taste. Contrary to you though, I don't take it personal and shall refrain from calling you tragic.

It really is a mediocre piece of music.
Loool. Really man? I agree the Newham Generals completely fucked up the vocals (could have been one of the biggest tracks of the year if they had done it right), too repetitive and simple for my taste, but the instrumental's man Whooah, Alright maybe not as good as Reup, Purple City etc, Digidesign but def bangers with some serious weight. Your welcome to your own opinion though! I agree album wasnt breath taking as most of the tracks where stale by the time it got released (lol @ tron making the cut). Go listen to the Goldie Remix of On my Mind, youll come back pleasently suprised MAASSIVE.

EZ!

hmm the flip (AA2) is deffo better than skitta, I'll agree to that. I guess I had expected Joker to have "progressed" differently after his stuff in '09 / '010 (as I said, didn't really hear/seek anything out from him in 2011, "Purple Sound" has been developed to the full so it was interesting to see how it would evolve).

If you look at how producers like Kahn have dealt with this problem or the new Guido record, I must say this doesn't hold up that well. Sorry to let you all down.

I Think You Should Know was made in 2010 though, it was previously known as Saturn. (might have been unfinished at that point and it had no vocals)

several things: I was going through a big kromestar phase when I made the account so I google image searched his name and my avatar popped up so I went with it. Didn't know anything about z-audio but he released jasmine through it so I rolled with it. I don't even really know what "z-audio" sounds like. Maybe its time for a new avatar. Second, I didn't call you tragic, I wasn't even insulting you, I was remarking that it was sad that I got so much enjoyment out of skitta particularly and you got so little. The back half of skitta doesn't sound like anything he has done before and I love the spaced out vibe of the big reverbs of the lead synth. its catchy for me.
