I dig the rhythm this track has, and I think this would probably be made stronger if the drums were louder, and perhaps the other elements in the song had some compression on them sidechained to the drums.

I agree with Fistfight Lullaby, the drums, especially the snare, could use some volume. some of the mid range could use some perfecting as well . overall nice tune though, good structure

Cheers guys, yeah its a pretty early mixdown so hopefully everything will be a lot clearer in the final version. I'd been listening to it for hours when i did this mixdown, probably not the best time!
I should really take a break and go back to tunes more often.
