Feedback & Adviced wanted [Dungeon]

Post by Dubnasty » Sat May 12, 2012 11:53 pm

This is going to be my first dungeon tune (3rd tune overall) and I feel like the intro is decent but i'd like opinions from some more experienced producers.
Also yes I know the percussions are not panned out, I want to get some advice before I move on with the track

I think the intro goes on for a bit long without much progression, would like some introduction of percussion at around .35 to feel like it is building, perhaps just some subtle swingy-hats
Also the kick and snare just dont sit right to me for a dungeon style track, they sound a bit overly processed as opposed to organic. Would like to have some more sub in that kick as well.

this. more percussion, drums sound kinda boring. i like the style, very atmospheric - just needs much more depth.

Thanks for the tips. I added a hat loop with an auto pan with a rising modulated volume that peaks at the end of the intro, and swapped the kick for a less hard-hitting more rounder style kick. Sounds a lot better!
