Got the basics of mine done, just need to start building arrangement and to add few more sounds.
Drums are sounding tight and the samples i used are really working.
Not gonna rush this one, want to take at least till tomorrow afternoon get it the best i can also got a few boys coming round tonight to finish off some dnb so will get sidetracked.

May have to upload whatever I have tonight. which at this point isn't a whole lot. May not be able to get anything done tomorrow. Probably won't even be able to get to the computer at all.

Can we have smaller first round groups than last time? I (and a couple of other people I spoke to) felt that having the first round voting patterns made up of 4 tunes felt a bit cluttered.

I agree, but that depends on the number of entries. If there are less than 16 (like the last two comps) then there really isn't any other way achieve 4 in the semis so there are 2 left in the final ;-)

the darker/deeper stuff usually wins unfortunately. there have been some solid tunes that didn't really fit the 'mold' that get booted in the first round or 2

Quick noob question, since I've never done this before. If I upload directly to the dropbox, will it show up publicly on my Soundcloud? Because I don't want that to happen...
