Didn't you make a thread asking about how to get signed? Who told you to spam DSF?

There is a difference between the two threads I made; I made one on seeking advice on HOW to get signed (which got merged with another similar thread) and I've made this thread that is informing labels that I'm unsigned. Big difference mate.

I'm not comparing the two threads man, I'm saying that you made a thread about how to get signed and got plenty of great answers, then you disregarded them all and just spammed the forum like everyone else. That's what I was saying, except I was trying to joke/be nice about it.

I understand the difference, I'm just saying as someone currently setting up/doing the paperwork for a label, seeing someone spam DSF is very unattractive. If your tunes are good, they'll get picked up. If not, open your DAW and work on something else. (I can't listen to your tracks at school, I'll listen when I get home.)

Spamming DSF will get you no where. I know you were good intentioned, but come on man, use your head.

What I mean is I produce under the name of Distinct, I wouldn't want to be uploading tracks onto Soundcloud with the name Ryan.

I feel that putting my location is helpful for local labels, I'm better off signing with someone local than on the other side of the world. And yes, beautiful place!

Well I'd say Ryan is a bit common to produce under the name of, don't you agree? Also, I doubt if it would look good on posters for local nights I play.

...So then do what the people in your "How to get signed" thread said; seek out local nights, make connections and... nevermind. Just keep spamming DSF. And being rude to people giving you honest suggestions never hurts either.

No sorry, at Sony we only offer contracts to people who post threads on forums as us label guys love to do all the work so you dont have to.
