BPM/TEMPO will not stop changing!!!

Post by TheDubEngine » Wed May 16, 2012 6:24 pm

anyone got any idea why on my cdj350s with the djm350 does the tempo/bpm change itself every other second and sometimes shows up the completely wrong bpm?

BPM readouts aren't always correct, don't rely on them. CDJ's don't 'drift' like vinyl does, but don't watch the BPM readout. If your tunes are beatmatched, then you're fine. Ride the pitch if they start to drift

Only had 1 issue with cheap CDs and thats because I burned them at fastest cause Iwas in a rush..

Burn as audio CD and not Mp3. Burn a handful at most a time and you should be fine.

Worked a treat! and the bpm is being more accurate with the reading.. i also used windows media player to burn the disc instead of nero, much better.... now my only problem left is that when using CD's on the CDJ-350's it comes up on the screen as Track 1 Track 2 Track 3 etc. is there a way of getting it to display the track name instead?

Errrm, I don't know actually.. I usually cut pieces of paper into squares and slide them into my CD wallet with the track names on em.
