not glorifying just reality. They involve almost everyone in the mess. Silver or lead is the saying. Youre either helping the cartel or hurting them

fucked up :?

makes sense in a totally warped way that cartels are using massacres as a media tool but it's hard to imagine how someone gets so desensitised that they use murder in that way

I imagine they would be easily bribed...
definitely

i was watching something a while ago about this kind of thing and there was footage from overhead street cameras of all the police leaving the area, and then a kill squad turning up and massacring a house of people. the really fucked up thing is that there was someone clearly operating the camera as it was tracking the whole thing going on

They probably don't even need to be bribed to be honest.
If you were a policeman in Mexico and the Cartel told you to leave an area at a certain time you'd probably do due to fear of the consequences.

Exactly. So fucking grim...

Actually there's quite a lot of oil in mexico. I think they are our first or second largest provider. The thing is that supply is not in any jeopardy.

It seem that the only possible way to fix this is legalize it all completely. Never gonna happen...

I can't believe a powerful and violent criminal militia would let some 12 year old on a Starcraft forum design their logo.

violence in mexico has escalated massively since president calderon "militarized" the drug war ... 40,000 murders or so since then.

on the plus side: mexico now has the world's largest mass movement aiming at ending prohibition. which is the only real solution.
