Re: May 48 HOUR Comp ROUND 2 VOTING OPEN (till friday 01:03G
As much as I like Foxtrot, I must mention that Echo sounded great.
And was it Mike that was Bro? I really liked it.
Well produced track.

A lot of the tracks in here have got some really interesting ideas, nice to see some variety in there.

Re: May 48 HOUR Competition ROUND 1 FIGHT!!!
Music is as hard and complex to make as you make it.I wouldn't agree with you at all on that because you don't make deep or "traditional" dubstep. The thing with the deeper dubstep it is harder to keep the tracks interesting, the only thing that makes bro "probably" more difficult to make is the sound design involved where saying that i would love to see you nail kryptic minds, chasing shadows or burials sound design because again their sound design in their tracks is just as difficult to recreate as skrillex. At the end of the day most of the bro stuff is learning techniques, lets use skrillex as an example how many of his tracks sound like he uses the same techniques in every track? He cracked a formula everyone likes and is now using it in almost all that he does.Dj Jäger wrote:Brostep is ten times harder and complex then traditional dubstep Anyday

Re: May 48 HOUR Comp ROUND 2 VOTING OPEN (till friday 01:03G
This round is tight as arseholes.
Re: May 48 HOUR Comp ROUND 2 VOTING OPEN (till friday 01:03G
Is it just me that thinks the votes this time look more compressed? like upwards style as if they've been parallel compressed or something, I know the round 1 voting had a lot more dynamics.lloydy wrote:This round is tight as arseholes.
Think I might be overdoing it in the studio

I think somebody needs some time outside and some fresh air.
Re: May 48 HOUR Comp ROUND 2 VOTING OPEN (till friday 01:03G
True dat,you need to really dynamically shape they way you live your life.Toooo much time in the studio, you need to distress and expand your horizons a bit more,go through the gate and fiter all the unwanted frequency's going through your mind.Just kick back and get a bit more fullness in your spectrum.wub wrote: I think somebody needs some time outside and some fresh air.
