Saw Big Boi at Primevera a couple years back and he was shit - basically doing karaoke over his own tunes, no stage presence, mugging like a tnuc to the crowd the whole time. Cee-Lo Green last year wasn't much better, again no live band setup, just him rhyming over electronics. Completely underwhelming.
I went to see Roots Manuva with a band earlier this year and it was shit, I wish it was just him and a DJ. The sound was horrible and the band seemed like it had been formed of complete strangers, that day, with no sound check. Ricky Ranking was there too which was cool, but a shame as I could barely hear him.
