excellent thread
mims - this is why I'm hot seems to work pretty well pitched down a bit
lot of the crunked up hip hop stuff out of ATL
on the metal side - 3 days grace - riot matches perfectly
there's also plenty of techno that'll mix too (dubby, tribal, bangin, etc.)
Sven Vath - Design Music (Si Begg rmx) is the fucking heat!

i just rediscovered the track "upona" by plaid (knew this long before i knew dubstep)
never been a lot into the rest of their stuff but this one is just lovely, some of the most beautiful melodies i ever heard.
i'm not a dj but the vibes of the tune remind me a bit of what i like about the more melodic dubstep tunes. i'm not sure about the tempo but i think it could be around 140 bpm
you can listen to it on bleep i think, it's on "spokes"

Phat Rabbit and What's your Fantasy off Ludacris' first album are both 140ish and sound funny.
Also, crank Justin Timberlake's My Love up to the right speed, let the arpeggios roll out and then slam a big Skream wobbler like Lightning or chestboxing on there and the dancefloor will errupt. (promise)
Sometimes Blinded by the lights by the streets sounds really nice in a deep set as well.
Why is massive attack vinyl so pricey??? I'd love mezzanine on wax for mixing into my sets but I can't find anywhere for a price I'd be willing to pay.

My choice has got to be Tek 9's A London Sumthin. It feeds so well and hold the pitch well for a jungle tune so doesnt sound out of tune and the bass goes well sub...Sound just like a dubstep tune...Try it..
Yes mate i got that and will dig it out for a blast...Antipop Consortium: Ghostlawns (LFO Rik Waller Mix).
