Didn't they actually find bodies buried beneath those statues on Easter Island?

Stop Locking the Anti-Skrillex/Brostep Posts

Post by Warfare Dubstep » Tue May 22, 2012 7:01 am

People deserve to speak their minds and shouldn't be censored by the admins. We all have a right to criticize the government for their wrong-doings, the education system, stupid idiots who write about what goes on in celebrities' lives (to hell with most of these idiot celebrities anyways), and yes, shitty brostep plaguing the dubstep scene.

I somewhat feel ostracized from the brostep criticizers because of this censorship. Come out my brethren :w:

Dubstep is in my veins and I can't take the agony of hearing little kids categorize crap from Borgore and Skrillex as "Dubstep."

Where does criticising brostep get you? What do you achieve? Skrillex going to stop making music?

Why not share some music you do like?

Why do you care what little kids categorise stuff as? You been to a night recently that you found out was run by 8 year olds or something?

As for the comparison with criticising the government, well, when a secret police force come and make me "disappear" because I didn't listen to Flux Pavillion's essential mix on Radio 1, well then I'll worry about the DSF admins blocking stuff.

There's a giant thread for discussing brostep. It's the one where nobody talks about brostep.

I posted this as a thread and somehow an admin brought it to this page lol. I saw a lot of anti-Skrillex threads being locked. This is a general discussion page, whatever it must be in regards to dubstep.

There's obviously a section within the community that hates brostep to hell and they deserve to rant about it.

The music I try to share is always said as "sounding the same" From Phaeleh to Vex'd, it all sounds the "same" to people. I'm guessing about 95% of people who listen to "dubstep" are actually brostep listeners and have never heard of pioneers within the scene. Imagine how much it would piss you off if a Skrillex fan said older and underground dubstep sucked.

Even a blind man could see what happened to Hip hop, to Drum and Bass, it's all been commercialized by pricks like Skrillex. Dubstep is a genre best served underground, through conservative evolution and not plain horse shit robot screeches that are out of tune.

Is any music from mainstream good?

It's all down to personal taste, man. And to your argument that if a skrillex fan said oldskool dubstep sucks, then I wouldnt be pissed, because I know it's his opinion.
