This will be my first summer that I'm into electronic music...I only found out about dubstep in September 2011
Last summer I was still mainly bumping tupac and dr dre and other 90s gangsta rap

what started my love for the 4x4
almost every time i mix these days at one point i'll pop in a 4x4 and it's just over from then.. computation, punani, tribal dance, word dance, clone, i chuck source 16 in (not 4x4, but same vibe, imo) heaps more, but usually if im mixing, you hear one you hear at least 5 in a row hahaha.

i don't tend to listen to electronic tunes designed for djing from start to finish.. if i'm listening to it then it's almost exclusively a mix. when i buy music i tend to mix it in to hr long sessions for listening in the car or at home

Just listened to that shit, still rather listen to extratone.
What the fuck is the appeal, it sounds like absolute shit, why would anybody think this is talent or fun? Why would a label like Planet Mu promote this?
Is it gonna go big or something? Cus i know i could make a track like Teknitian and a bunch of the other ones i just heard, and i might want to cash in. Bring your VL-1 jboy, there's money to be made.
Re: Post your unpopular opinions.. NSFW
Out of interest, have either of you been to a Footwork dance? The tunes do sound simplistic on headphones or at home, but the atmospheres tend to be awesome and it's so nice to see people stepping properly again. Real dance music. You've possibly missed the boat by about a year if you were wanting to cash in... it already WENT big.

Also it may sound technically easy to make but so does some grime. Doesn't mean just anyone could do it though...

Well personally I've really gotten into Juke/Footwork in a big way recently, yeah it sounds simplistic and/or under-produced but IMO thats half the appeal, it's raw and to the point

The beats are whack but the dancing is insanely cool. I'll agree there.
