I cant understand the mindset of people want to pay less for an apprentice to mark you for life. I mean I know its basically necessary for the whole thing to continue on but fuck that. Fuck that in the biggest way possible.
The fact you did one on some poor bastard within two days blows my mind. Apprentice stuff should be borderline free in my mind.
Bit of a rant but yeah Ive got a half sleeve that cost me £800 and that was two and a half years ago that people ask me almost weekly if its brand new compared to mates who are covered in an apprentice tats from the same time period that are washed out, have wonky line work and blotches.

I watched some Tattoo show last night, something called Tattoo school or something.
Basically taking guys with no tattoo experience and taking them through their apprenticeship and onto pro work.
Some guys just hack away at their subject and leave them with nasty nasty nasty work.
One guy though, he was a black and white pencil artist.
Never tattooed in his life but on his 2nd tattoo he produces an amazing piece of Native american black and white art.
An amazingly emotive picture of an Indian's face, beautifully shaded, etc.
The comparison is amazing though.
One brilliant tattoo and a whole wack of the nastiest shit on the planet.
The subjects being tattooed though, it`s like they put themselves up for Guinea pigs all the time.
Some of the guys are just covered in the nastiest, worst tattoos ever.
