Live's pretty easy to learn once you get the basics down, you'll get it bro

Maybe you can help me out? I need the mpk49 drum pads to control the knob range on an fx, and I need one of the pads to behave in a momentary manner where when the pad is pressed and held, the knob is turned to a specific level, and when released returns back to 0. And that same pad also when held turns a different fx unit's wet dry knob up to 100% and when released returns to zero?
I've been trying to figure this out, but it seems live can't do momentary, only toggle midi mapping. Have found a way to do it with a midi loopback driver but don't really want to start messing with virtual midi drivers for something so simple.

Have been close bro. Every time I try to do something in live I always run into these road blocks. Seems like live has all these great features but then when u try to dig in and actually use them, there are all these limitations and gotchas.
Fact of the matter is live is cool if you use it exactly like it was intended, but if you try to do something even slightly out of the ordinary, ur fucked.

Yeah sorry man I never did any mapping with live. I've always regarded MIDI mapping as one of the biggest pains in the asses in all music production
