Re: JayDrop - Diving
Loving the skittery beats on the intro and the pads to give it that nice atmospheric feel. Kick when it arrives is a bit on the flat side, got that wet cardboard vibe to it so maybe layer it to give it some extra weight. Bass when it comes in is nice, but again serves to highlight the relatively weak kick. Same with the snare, sounds a bit on the weak side and could do with a bit of reverb so it doesn't die away in the mix so quickly.
Bass is really nice, great vibes running through it and the little synth melody on top compliments it well. Liking the percussion switch up toward the last third of the tune as well, keeps the whole thing varied to hold interest.
Overall I'd say other than the relative weakness of the kick/snare, this is a quality tune. Nice work
