vocals? -depends on who and what style. I loved the elephant man remix you guys did for Greensleeves... I wonder if someone like sizzla, capleton, I wayne, Ward 21, Ms thing, bounty killer or Tanya Stephens would sound good on a horsepower riddim?

halfstep ?:- Halfstep, wholestep, whatever you call it step .... we NEED some music from you!?? soon :)

Dark Vs Light?- Whatever you are feeling I personally love music from all perspectives

Whatever you put out- it is great news that you will be releasing music!
:)
I am looking forward to whatever you release.

eye think whatever you do youre gonna get support and love from the dubstep comm!! the dark minimal stuff is great but you need the bounce and step to counteract that.some big fat skanking tunes!!!!

:D

By the way, will Dj Abstract (Alex P.) be involved in any way????

doesn't he live in San Fran, on the other coast?

last album was the lick baby. jazz n groove - dont go dark coz everyone else is - keep it mature - dubstep suffers from too much reggae sounding stuff and to me thats not original, the reggae masters did that - u guys undoubtedly have alot of vision in ur music, dont lose that.

i know abstract....he got so shafted by a few uk breaks labels that he kinda allowed it all and stuck to dnb. he is the don tho - may get him to release some stuff for scuba on 'otflush innit.

Wow. What a thread!

Was listening to In Fine Style last night and all i can say is if you stay true to yourselves then you will be on to a winner.

And to whoever said the vocals in the new M.R.K One tune are great...its true, they are!

easy b.. from a personal point of view i dont think i could come close to givin you boys any advice! all your releases to date have just sounded like you, pure and simple.. youve always kept a good balance between light and dark, funky and heavy.. innovation is key, dont worry whats in style right now, its all about whats doin it for you..

Like us or not, we are currently producing some new material and would like to hear some feedback regarding the content of the future releases we have planned:

1. Vocals in Dubstep- what do people think about having female vocals in dubstep, either singing or MC'ing ( obviously there would be version as well )

2.Half step - is anyone out there interested in beats that are on the old skool tip, or would everyone prefer to hear the more minimal beats

3.Darkness and light - Are people mainly feeling the dark stuff or does anyone think the scene could benefit from a few lighter numbers ( for intro sets, late nights e.t.c. )

As you may already know, Horsepower Productions means music for the people by the people, so your opinions make all the difference. We can make it either this way or that way or any other way you like so.....

Please, please step up and give us all your views, positive or negative

i personally miss the bumpiness of horsepower tunes - your elephant man rmx is still in my top 10 ever - but I can imagine that you'd bring a horsepower flavour to half-step that I'd be intrigued to hear. vocals all good 2 - allow the purists...

yeah your wisdom is pretty much infinite in these matters as far as I'm concerned, so do as you will...

jus do ur thing benny! ur heavy! wot ever you feel.

its quality ur looking for feedback 2. maybe do sum new experimental stuff then a few trademark horsepower stuff.. i dont know? you could do a few half steppers. im sure ever u put out will be big.

As for vocals im working on a dubwise track at the moment with a female vocal and ive aquired a femal vocalist i want to incorperate on a few tracks to.

I might not run an entire vocal track but nice vocal influences hear and there or maybe a twisted corus? i havent decided yet.

The dubwise track will be finished by sunday. lock on to rinse for the exclusive play.

Hey! … Benny,

Females are magnetising (at least for me) … yes for the female vocals
but
i like when the track is instrumental and vocal at the same time

2) new ... fwd

3) Darkness x Light
well, you are always perfectly in between

Mr Illsta, we all cannot wait for the Illest beats !

... and I cannot think of any negative view, sorry :D

Stay focused Benny ill..
Remember the teachings & scriptures of old recordings..
Try & repeat the beat in a new format unknown to the human ear..
Stay off the Buffalo wings & talk to the free tibet crew..

You are the teacher...
So you deserve to walk the path of your choice..

The Culprit & all other students of dubstep respect your decision in beat manifestation, vocals can only help the cause for new music...

Vocal dud-step in the arena shall dominate..
Link it up.
Sing out across towns, valleys medows, fields & streams..

Fill the individuals heads with plesant dreams...
The gutter is filthy & dirty & escapism is the ism of the hour...
