Re: what is
Do you reckon he used the cs-80 for those sci fi pad sounds?I have the arturia plug but haven't really got into it yet but if its capable of making patches like that i might have to break the fucker out and learn it.

no i'm just saying most dubstep listeners aren't looking for their tunes on dnb labels, just like dnb heads aren't looking for tunes on dubstep labelsBudSpencertron wrote:he should have put that on either chase and status label or mau5trap

Re: what is
I think they are 2 quality tunes
props for sharing bud.
Re: what is
Didn't vangelis do the chariots of fire theme music? and also that tune Hymne?
both of those tracks were POWERFUL
I wasn't a huge fan of the drops but overall, yeah, seems like a massive producer!

Re: what is
Yeah I'm not into that style either, but those are some lovely intros especially the 2nd tune. Would like to hear whole tunes like that. Bit like if Joker did a tune with Vangelis.£10 Bag wrote:They were both sick before the drop ruined it

Re: what is
[ot]
both vangelis and jarre are way too much overrated.
they were-are just brilliant composers and synth players, marketing tools, moneymachines, very very bad and unimmaginative and poor as artists (especially jarre, vangelis has done some qualitystuff, like blade runner ost)
try cluster, tangerine dream, roedelius and those krautrock freaks if you want some quality 70's synthetizer-based work/suite/trip (plusover a large part of jarre production is ripped of that stuff)
that guy is only good for advertising stuff like arturia right now
