Crazy D

Post by botched » Tue Jul 10, 2007 12:00 pm

I just heard this guy on the Search and Destroy Vs Vex'd Mix (Kiss FM)

Is this guy always like that..Like bare chatting over tunes without much substance? He totally ruined the mix for me which i would have though would be on touch..

Dont wanna judge a guy on one show so whats up?

I know he is quite big in the scene and has been around for a long time but I tend to agree.

Same old chat, not much new. MCs can be ok if they are inventive.

I remember an old Spiral Tribe MC that used to take the party/music to another dimension. He used to have a never ending range of verses and could rant for hours.

I once thought it was nonsance till I heard him in a club.. ever since then I've had high respect for Crazy. He's a good host and MCs a bit too. I think it works well in a club and he really gets the crowd going.

gotta agree dude, never rated him. he basically repeats the same handful of catchphrases over and over again. does my head in.

The mans a legend. An MC of the old school variety. There to get the crowd moving and respond to any calls for rewinds.Never overpowers the music and never chats over any lyrics.I love to hear his catchphrases in the dance."erhhh what? give it too me hot?"
I would compare his style to that of GQ from the Jungle scene.Another classic MC in my opinion.

Sometimes it can feel a bit empty without a host...so Crazy D is a soldier for doing what he does anyways, so........Listen!

Crazy is a Don, he always keeps the vibes flowing nicely and is one of the hardest working people in Dubstep. He has never ruined as set for me, only made it better and i'm sure anyone he has worked with would agree.

Listen to this set of L.D, Hatcha, Crazy D and myself on Crazy's very own show on Kiss.

The GQ of the dub scene.

Hated by youngers, loved by the olders.

Pretty much like 5ive O and Moose.
