thing is about education, changes, forgive, alicia, livin different etc etc is that they all sound awesome on a home hifi as well as on a rig
to be this is cos they are musically brilliant, not simply bassweight. cuba electronica just sounds so average in that respect
you're not wrong, you're just an asshole

Mala is just overrated in general, guys. Other than Return II Space (the tune), I dont really care about anything he does anymore, especially this new stuff. I didn't even really enjoy his set when I saw him. Maybe he was just having a bad day or idk, but the amount of clang and wheeling just wasn't appealing. Wheeling up more than once a song, then numerous times in a set is also fucking stupid. Just play the song out longer. Let the song run out for all I care. Dubplate culture is overrated, unless you're selling beats to guys.

Of course, this is just beating a dead horse and all these things have been said on previous pages :corntard:

sorry bro, but keeping tunes unreleased to just be played out live is lame. keeping a beat exclusive because you've sold it to an mc or something is fine.

I disagree, it's something special when you hear it and everyone doesn't get to rinse it out.

I love that aspect of dubstep, dubplate culture is part of what made dubstep special (and how that goes side by side with other things like pirate radio and soundsystem culture).

My unpopular opinion: Blade Runner is boring.

Even if there was no plot or sound, it would still be an amazing film, and I'm willing to get into a topless/bottomless fight with you over it.

I don't think I could fight with no bottom though.

(And yeah, Blade Runner does look good- I'd prefer to just put some tunes on and watch it)

Akkord is/are basically "My First Techno" for people that are scared to look for Techno that hasn't been endorsed by some dubstep figurehead.

Still pretty good though. It is a bit funny how so many people who were into dubstep are finally branching out to house and techno now

eh? you can buy pretty much all of the hyperdub releases (with one or two exceptions) in digital formats on their website.
