Wow they scapegoat anything. No one wants to deal with mental illness these days, easier to fully blame a drug. It's fully possible someone would have an episode like that from something like a research chemical, but there would most definitely be some severe underlying mental illness already affecting the person, and it triggers it like any psychoactive thing would.

So the original guy this thread was about in Miami who ate the man's face had his toxicology reports come in, and there was nothing like bath salts found (oh, big surprise). They only found weed in his system, which could have been from 2 months ago really. Of course, now the media is using suggestive headlines like 'Miami zombie was on marijuana..........
