pi makes a lot more sense when you figure out that they are not talking about pi, but phi. the fibonacci sequence. the golden mean. it's about the spiral, not the circle.

Well, I know shit about math or geometry so it didn't bother me so much. It was still an entertaining flick.

Documentary about 2 guys who battle for the Donkey Kong world record score. Really enjoyed this and just picked it from random on netflix after reading the description - funny and the rivalry that builds throughout the film is great and was really excited to see who finally ended up with the highest score.

Yeah I watched it like a year ago. It was really quite interesting to be honest, more than I had expected.
That long-haired guy was really annoying though, and he was a terrible loser... But at the same time that was also kind of fun to watch.

Yeah, people hype it too much. It's his best one though IMO...

wobbles, check out 2010: The Year We Make Contact next if you haven't. Not really comparable to Kubrick's, but I think it's a great film in its own right.

After watching it I looked into it a bit more and it seems there's a LOT of things the filmmakers left out/didn't cover to bend the facts

Yeah. It's geared up to be a bit of a Good vs Evil scenario but apparently that wasn't quite the case.

I still hate Brian Kuh though.
