i definitely agree that walt needs to die.
him just walking off into the sunset as an ending would just not work for me.

I just watched the pilot episode again - when Walt is talking to his class describing chemistry it's basically the arc of the show. Amazing. Vince Gilligan has had this whole thing set up from day 1!

Yeah I actually think he's really good too.

Almost done with season 3 now and I just can't get enough of it. Hands down best series I've seen to date.
And yes, the pilot is just sublime. Wasn't really sure what to expect when I started watching the series but after I had seen the pilot I just knew.

both great arcs that offset walt breaking bad
i think it's gonna get good when they finally see walt for who he is now

hank is honestly one of the better written characters, a good guy who gets shot and can't stand being cooped up, and feels guilty for living
i can relate to him being a war vet

i didnt think much of him at first but he's gotten progressively more interesting after that incident with the mexicans.

Actually he started getting some depth when he moved to the DEA division in Mexico.

i think the point where he got interesting was when his microbrew beers blew up just after he got shot
it showed him being human and paranoid and survivors guilt

haha the series has such well written characters that you can love or hate them for their characterizations
i find it to be one of the best parts of the show, everyone is so damn human
