If you go to the first page of this thread, you can see people are talking about something called 'aquacrunck'.
Which -of course- is hilarious.

Would you mind elaborating, please? (Other than "A lot of people are making it right now")

Not trying to be a bother, just don't understand the hate really. (Again, besides "A lot of people are making it right now, it's getting diluted, etc.." just because a lot of people are making shitty clones doesn't mean there aren't people making some good dungeon/dark tunes..)

Well, I haven't heard one track which has made me go "wow" in that category since 2010 and trust me, being from London its hard to get away from it when you're at a night.

Its just boring, soulless and doesn't even sound good on a system! Its just some alright sub on top of some non-grooving drums. Its a mixture between the 'harder' tunes in 06/07 and then they took everything good about it and then over produced it and sucked all the life out of it - its a step backwards.

Its alright headphone music but thats about it.

I just lowpass my entire track so that only the sub bass and the low end of my kick make it through :6:

except for kryptic minds - they still are making amazing, sub heavy, INTERESTING tunes imo

it's the imitators who make it watered down
