Check out Bully from Larry Clark as well. Similar film based on true events.
I can't believe people are that stupid to do such things for basically no reason.
Have to check that one out

There's a movie version of 'on the road!?' :o
Why have i not seen that!?
It's very new, still at film fests I think. It's being released in various markets right now though. Think there's only been a French release so far. Pretty big cast, Coppola and Walter Salles involved so it's a pretty big project, shouldn't be too obscure.
Speaking of Salles, The Motorcycle Diaries is another road type movie.
Yeah cool just checked this out, getting released in september in uk, lookin forward to it, though some of the cast seem like strange choices + kristen stewart wtf?

Cosmopolis is great by the way, seriously tense film. Takes a while to get used to the awkward delivery of the dialogue, but there's some golden lines in there, would be great for samples, especially as theres no background noise for alot of the film.
Definitely will watch it a few more times, can see it being a grower.

Suspiria. Thought the story was pretty good, really enjoyed the soundtrack. Movie was mainly let down by the dubbing and poor acting, but hey, its a 70's horror flick.

Haha that's what makes giallo films so great, besides the music.

Currently rinsing the month free of Netflix, loads of bullshit on there but mainly using it to finally hit up Twin Peaks (which is already like the best shit ever after 5 episodes)

Also watched The Lives of Others, sounds a lot like The Conversation.

Any rec for shit to watch on Netflix then?

Selection on Netflix is pretty piss poor to be honest. Mysterious Skin was one that I found to be pretty good though.

Sin Nombre, Tsotsi, Last Train Home, The Interrupters, Apocalypto - there's actually quite a lot of decent films on it.

Just watched this:

The Kill List

A disturbing and (deliberately it seems) confusing film.

The editing was more frustrating than anything else. It was like a music video at times, the pacing of the film suffers as a result.
