In my defense I knew of only MSTRKRFT when I came up with DFRNT - and I regret my decision EVERY SINGLE DAY.

I don't want to change it now though, since people know the name and association, and changing it means setting things back a bit. Plus I have other aliases I work under, so perhaps they'll outshine DFRNT at some point, and I can make a switch in some way.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Although it has become a trend people will still listen to your music and decide if they like it based on how it sounds, not on what your artist name is. And at least your name is memorable.
