What DAW do you use?
Right now i'm using the Beta for FL 10 on Mac... I use Maschine as a host sometimes too although not to completion. I'm down to work on stems though.

How long have you been producing for?
damn! made my first beat on an Korg M1 in '94. Went from MPC 2000 to FL 3.5 and been producing in FL ever since... Mind you this is all been pretty much hobby production, i've never released anything.

What VSTs do you favour?
Massive!!! also Z3ta, Minimoog, also various fx - Effectrix, u-he, etc

What artists/labels would you say most clearly reflect your sound?
TBH, i've been making some really weird shit lately. more along the lines of trappy, bass style electro shit, like the smoother shit on Lucky Beard. Typically though more in the realm of Bassclash/wobble type shit. Although I'd really like to start getting back into making some more Deep Medi type darker stuff.

What artists/labels would you say most clearly reflect your sound?: Honestly, I've been hearing 16 bit comparisions lately, and they were an influence when I started, but I've never aimed to sound like anyone else and I like to think I've done alright at that, I've been compared to a few people, but I'd say there aren't a LOT of clear reflections of my sound, I don't know how to answer this without sounding pretentious.

Influences (both inside & outside of Dubstep): I came from hardcore punk and metal music, some punk, never was really into electronic music until the last 9 years or so, and I am really into the more abstract stuff, like mount kimbie, burial, fantastic mr. fox. I also really like the LA beats and hip hop instrumental stuff that I've heard. I am generally pretty open minded and listen to a lot of different stuff. On the newer harder side of dubstep I am really digging what guys like 50Carrot, Vylex, Cycero, and Getter are doing, before that I was really into 16 Bit, Reso, and generally a lot of the more well thought out heavy stuff.

Sidenote: Im well experienced in creating well tuned and arranged melodies, I believe that's my strongsuit. My weaknesses are drops and writing non cliche bassliners, but NOT the synthesis part at all. Well I could use more guidance in that field anyways.
