Volor Flex has been discussed a few times here. He did say it was a Burial tribute (even to the point of doing covers).
His EP on Apollo is really good; not a fan of the rest though.

Not really as there is no real reason to get annoyed, just a bit weird because it was sampled in such a similar way.

Find me a scene that isn't 80% rippers. Just gotta look for the best. Saying that though, sometimes the rippers make sick music. Volor Flex's album was quality.

/\ I kinda agree with this, and i think stylistic imitators are 'better' than those ripping off other peoples original ideas. Most Interesting things happen because someones failed in trying to copy someone else and accidentally stumbled upon something new.
