I wouldn't mind a bro/whatever that shits called producer as a q+a as long asd you counterbalanced it with a decent producer too
i think there would be demand for a Blawan q+a.
I'd like a Shackleton one personally! He does have an account on here too (albeit not used in years) - widow twanky.

Was going to suggest this too, but it seems people are more interested in 'dubstep' producers. I mean, I know it's dubstepforum so it's to be expected, but the sound has changed so much in just a few short years and a lot of the folks don't seem to know or be into those guys. Shackleton is one of the definitive dubstep producers imo, but Blawan really just got lumped into dubstep at an odd transition time for the genre but has since broke out of that.
Maybe the house forum needs a q&a.

that would be sick but I doubt it'll happen

Flux Pavilion shouldn't be that hard to get. Probably a lot easier than Skrillex.
He did a q&a on reddit not too long ago, although it had little to do with actual production.

I'd like to see one with flux pavilion about production and also about his views on the scene, deep vs bro, etc etc
he's made some great tunes along with his wank ones

I think it's a shame tbh. I'm still in thrall of 2006-9 when the term dubstep wasn't confined to halfstep bro and dungeon sounds. Although I think a lot of the 'bass' producers who once made dubstep are trying to get away from the scene and gravitate more towards house or techno so its no surprise that a lot of people now wouldn't associate those producers with dubstep. Maybe the house? forum should have a production section although there'd prob be about three threads in it lol!

I picked yes, I would consider myself a "brostep" producer so that right there is my reasoning. Vocal cuts, Mid range bass, and spliting bass FQ is my shit.

@ wormcode and skwiggo Thats why he asked if we wanted a bro/complextro producer not a dubstep one...whats the point in pigeon holeing your sound?

Haha it doesn't get much more pigeonholed than complexbro. But yeah, I was just responding to his post.

whoever it is, no questions about "views on the scene?" pleeeaasssee please can we keep these very technical and production related?
that's what this forum is for. A thousand people have asked and answered a thousand versions of that question and it's all been said. WHo the fuck cares.
I didn't vote in this poll, but regardless of the style of music you're targeting, please go for someone who you actually want to learn from. This isn't a fucking reddit AMA
its not to be a fanboy and say how much you loved xyz and "when will this dub get released" etc etc.
Who's got technical prowess, incredible mixdowns, far-out synth patches or complex rhythms, whatever, just as long as it's music writing, production, and/or engineering related

But to be serious would like to see someone like Datsik or any of those other Rottun producers
or either Mt Eden, cause i've always liked their more chill style of modern brostep.
And i do agree there should be something to balance it out, someone from chestplate or team starfleet or somethin.
