Well not exactly sure what was wrong with them but I remember that they were always just kinda living in their own world, always on their own. Does that count as being autistic?

i think autistic kids tend to be very shy, pretty much incapable of regular communication with people, often have trouble expressing emotions, can only concentrate on very specific tasks and will repeat these tasks to exhaustion in extreme cases

i duno, just from the sounds of it, those kids in your stories are a bit odd and attention seeking, but yeh, duno, just doesn't sound too much like autism but im no expert

Well it's been quite a while so I can't remember exactly but I do remember that the kid who punched the wall never really said anything, but when he did, it was always just some random story out of nowhere.

There was one guy who became known as Dogfucker Colin to our class mates because this girl said she caught him having sex with his dog. I figured it was just talk, then one day me and this guy John who happened to be a spitting image of Cartman were over at his playing Red Alert. Dogfucker breaks out a poorly rolled joint, and we proceed to smoke. I wasn't into smoking when I was a teen, but tried it a couple of times. This was one of those times. After, we were around his PC and he was copying some Red Alert maps onto my floppy disk, and out of nowhere he opens some porn, eventually getting to bestiality pics, and then proceeded to pull his dick out and started swinging it around at us making helicopter noises with his mouth. Needless to say my mind was blown that day. I think the next time I smoked was when I was 22.

Not really weird or anything, but it just came back to me after reading this thread and it was just pure comedy gold at the time.

My friend Berian (yes, that is a real name) was once sat in our A-level history class sneakily reading a Terry Pratchett book at the back. Our teacher was talking to us about Vietnam, and the particularly brutal episode in that war's history known as the My Lai Massacre when all of a sudden he shouted out "BINGGG!" really loud, totally unawares, and carried on reading lost in his little world. Our teacher was showing us pretty horrific images and being very serious, and he came out with that at just the wrong time, and he carried on as though nothing had happened. Gold.

A man who posed as a 15-year-old schoolboy in South Devon has been jailed for four years for attacking two youths with a broken bottle.

Niamat Miah, now aged 20, was 19 when he told the authorities he was a 15-year-old schoolboy named Sabbir Ahmed. In fact, he was an illegal immigrant who had been left in the UK by his parents. He attended Dawlish Community College and South Dartmoor Community College.

At Exeter Crown Court yesterday he was sentenced to four years in prison for smashing a beer bottle and thrusting it into the face and neck of two teenagers.

Sentencing him Judge Philip Wassall said: "You have told so many lies throughout the investigation. Not only have you lied to police in trying to wriggle out of being held responsible for what you did but also to the court."

Miah now faces being deported to his home country.

The incident happened on June 10 last year when a drunken Miah got into an argument outside the Take 2 bar with Chris Prior, Lawrence Manders and a small group of girls.

Prosecutor Sean Brunton said when the argument escalated Miah phoned his older brother Liakat Miah who was working at a nearby restaurant. Liakat grabbed Mr Manders around the neck and threatened him, the court was told.

"The defendant picked up a beer bottle and smashed it on the pavement then thrust the stump into the face of Chris Prior cutting him around the left eye," said Mr Brunton. "A few seconds later he picked up another, smashed it against railings of the bar and made a slashing motion across the throat of Lawrence Manders cutting him across the throat area."

Both victims suffered cuts but no lasting injury. Miah ran from the scene but was caught by police. He told them he had been the victim of an attack but this was a "figment of his imagination", said Mr Brunton. When arrested he pretended to have a fit to "muddy the waters" said Mr Brunton.

Miah was arrested as Sabbir Ahmed.

Defence counsel Jo Martin told the court punches had been thrown on both sides and her client had felt aggrieved.

She said he had previously suffered mental problems and had tried to injure himself.

Miah, who was 19 at the time of the offence, admitted two counts of unlawful wounding.

Miah, of no fixed address, was sentenced to four years in a UK jail before deportation.
