2 ableton questions
1) don't you guys wish there were more than 8 macros in instrument racks?? i find myself very quickly maxing them out when making a really involved sound.
and i gotta map to the knobs as opposed to just automating each feature (which would be endless) because sometimes there are 2-3 sound layers per sound and I have to automate the same feature in each layer.. its really convenient to map the same feature to the macro knob .. so say macro knob1 controlls the lfo rate which effects three different instances of massive each with automated lfo
2) is there a way to switch between note view and envelope view in the clip editor via keyboard shortcut?

Re: 2 ableton questions
1) I don't really use instrument rack macros so I can't help you with that, perhaps there is a way. It may be complete bullcrap it's just a quick idea, but maybe you can get it working somehow by putting an instrument rack into an instrument rack?
2) I don't think there is one, it sure would be useful though. It's not in this list, but it still might be useful for other stuff, here's a list of Ableton shortcuts: http://www.vertecsrecordings.com/upload ... ts_win.pdf

Re: 2 ableton questions
yeah putting an instrument rack in an instrument rack ( RACKS ON RACKS ON RACKS!!! lol) only works if there are other pluging outside the first rack which you can route to the second rack marcros. you're limited to the eight with one plugin group

Re: 2 ableton questions
for your shortcut problem... can't you set one using Shift-M. I've never really used that feature before, but I think it does something along those lines.

						Re: 2 ableton questions
i dunno if thats just a joke.. but it doesn't matter.. ur always limited to 8 because the first 8 latch to the second 8 and so on.
