Yeah, the distinction between tearout and brostep for me is very muddy. The Tornado wrote:What 16bit is brostep? I honestly think all their shit is dubstep... tearout, but not brostep - big difference obviously.

Re: 16bit split up
I reaally hope they give away Moth as a goodbye present or something, such a big tune
I still play their Milky Pie Mix from time to time haha, couple of very good producers indeed... here's to hoping they atleast do some solo stuff that's good in future

This needs a release, bad:
Been rinsing this lately, it kind of reminds me of old Vex'd with a little more commercial slant:

Re: 16bit split up
i liked a lot of their tunes so quite disappointed really, definitely up there with my fave tearout/bro producers. love how everyone dismisses them as shit but in like 08 when i started actually going to nights their tunes would be dancefloor wreckaa's

It says on the Boomtown Fair website that they have split up and won't be playing their slot.Harkat wrote:There seems to be no proper announcement about this, just strong rumors and one of them saying something about a "last gig as 16Bit".

Mentioned but on the three or so other times this news has been mentioned, but honest to god my favourite "bro" tune of all time... actually, a close tie between this and the Machine Gun remix...Maccaveli wrote:

That's a shame, they have made some class tracks, talented and versatile producers too. Their more aggressive "bro" sound was pretty new at the time, at least for me so I have a soft spot in that sense.

If 16bit was a one-man op, why would we be talking about them SPLITTING UP?Bloodstream wrote:whenever I heard him (16bit), he was crap, so i dont care about him
