In love with a certain wob instrument... Must learn 2 make

Post by WageSlaveEscapist » Fri Jul 06, 2012 4:01 am

Would someone please give me some kind of clue of how to make the main wobble instrument in this song? At 27 seconds in it starts going "Wuwuwuwwoooooaaw Wuwuwuwwoooooaaw" [if that makes sense]. [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o72c6z5nFos ]

I got reason 5, Native, FL, ect, I know how to make a shitty song in reason and work a few knobs that's it, but I'd really like to get into this. I have a hard time finding decent patches to use, and I've not much of a clue of how to engineer them.

if you have massive load up a sound (play around with the waveforms to get the sound you want), put a lowpass filter on it and control the cutoff with one of the 4 blue envelopes (not 4 that's assigned to the master). Then if you play with the controls on the envelope you can control wobble. Or if you want it to be more technical control the cutoff filter with automation.
