just got downlink back here after 2 years for a q&a
shame people equate their success with bro shit since they forged their own niche that others copy now

wow, that's amazing,
not that I'm a fan of theirs, just that everyone was all in the same boat then.
Now there is a massive divide between those who got it "Made" and everyone else.
Seems like the best tunes come from those cats who are getting more and more attention every day.
But not yet balling out of control by any means, still hungry, and work smart, using time wisely.

This is really off topic, but I finally got my hands on the fabled thread:

http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.p ... lit=sonika

Haha! Sonika has really grown as a dubstep fan and as a producer.
British bass music>American treble music.

that was gold. surprised no one has sig'd this.
I personally like many of the songs that Skrillex has put out, as do I ALSO like more minimal, "pure" dubstep such as Skream, Benga, etc.

Lol at Skream and Benga being "pure" dubstep producers. Time sure does fly.
