that was my point. I don't think Azealia Banks sounds that much like Missy. She is just (unfortunately?) also female.
She is the closest female MC to Missy I have heard for a long time, her style is blates taken from Missy, hence her choice to MC over uptempo tracks.
She sometimes sounds like lil kim in the way certain words are pronounced like Biggie would've.
Especially a certain word beginning with n that americans take a lot of issue with.
I think her choices in producers is what saves her - she's just too unoriginal.
Action Bronson sounds stupidly like Ghostface, but is still overly nice.
OK, I'm done.
Edit: I'd also like to state that with Hip Hop (I use that term lightly) being in the state it is right now (stand up Lil B, Drake & Wiz Kalifa), I think you should appreciate someone with a bit of skill. As much as I'd love it to be, this aint '98, and there's no Lauryn Hill, fo real.

Azealia Banks is one of the most original rappers out right now. Her word play is also phenomenal at times. She's worlds better than Kreayshawn and especially Iggy.

(Where do you think Hip-Hop is goin?)
I tell em, "You know what's gonna happen with Hip-Hop?
Whatever's happening with us"
If we smoked out, Hip-Hop is gonna be smoked out
If we doin alright, Hip-Hop is gonna be doin alright
People talk about Hip-Hop like it's some giant livin in the hillside
comin down to visit the townspeople
We (are) Hip-Hop
Me, you, everybody, we are Hip-Hop
So Hip-Hop is goin where we goin
So the next time you ask yourself where Hip-Hop is goin
ask yourself.. where am I goin? How am I doin?
