no offence mate, but I was there with a smoker and all was fine, the night went on for 8 hours, and the courtyward was a friendly nice place to chill, it worked out great, skank for an hour, have a 5 minute break for some air and/or a cigarette, go back in, repeat etcDJ Whistla wrote:yeh fo sho i smoke too much and trying to give up ciggies is a perpetual thing for me, but ultimately once i get a beer in my hand i draw for a cig, everytimeJaime wrote:surely its up to you how often you pop out for a cigarette / blaze? i think the ciggarette smokers should vacate when they want one and return and those wishing to smoke green should remain inside and be as sly as possible.. seemed to work on saturday for us lot, shame you feel like that though...
what makes it annoying for me is that it was all sweet b4 (you cud blaze a cig or zoot whislt hearing da beats and get lost in your medi) but now (for me) i am too busy going up and down the stairs, pushin past peeps to get to the bar, get a drink hear 15 mins of tune then need a cig and on it goes....this isnt even counting the need for spliffs
basically the smoke ban spoilt the night way too much for me
I'm not being personal, but this is kinda how life is gonna be from now on, and maybe its worth focusing on the incredible new music that happened, not the fact you couldnt have a cigarette

Yeh its now part of the law, and I cant remember any times when some new law was drafted up and then scrapped a few weeks later.Joe C wrote:no offence mate, but I was there with a smoker and all was fine, the night went on for 8 hours, and the courtyward was a friendly nice place to chill, it worked out great, skank for an hour, have a 5 minute break for some air and/or a cigarette, go back in, repeat etcDJ Whistla wrote:yeh fo sho i smoke too much and trying to give up ciggies is a perpetual thing for me, but ultimately once i get a beer in my hand i draw for a cig, everytimeJaime wrote:surely its up to you how often you pop out for a cigarette / blaze? i think the ciggarette smokers should vacate when they want one and return and those wishing to smoke green should remain inside and be as sly as possible.. seemed to work on saturday for us lot, shame you feel like that though...

ye bruv, it was laaaarge as usual (in fact, larger than ever). weren`t u there at that point?? cudda swore i saw u from earlier than that. anyway, big up for reachin for the first time geez, now u know there`s no turnin backobIwan wrote:My fave tune at the mo as well, did he drop it?DJ Sinc Vision wrote:i have now had miracles in my head for 3 DAYS STRAIGHT!! i think it'll only leave me come saturday. mala, don't let me down.

for me the night was good but not great. no one dj smacked it raw for my liking, everyone had something good to bring but noone touched my soul like past dee-em-zed`s (out to u gav for the education

i`m a non smoker and i`m also a non tag-along, so everytime all my mates rolled outside i didn`t feel to go with but after bout 15mins on my own i started to feel the void. gettin this feelin throughout the night definitely detracts from the personal vibe.
still, good to see all crew, out to res, adz, pasc, booms, gav, hayley, ajantis, markle, obi, all the dans (we will rule one day), con, hefs, T[NT], h.o.d and any others who i chatted to.

that digital mystikz + loefah set, i lost perception of time, wouldn't be able to say how long that was if there hadn't been timetable. is definitely the way to enlightenment. and the mala track, it must have been mala, the first one to have technical fault (science was not being kind during that set), no idea what it was, except among the most amazing things ive ever heard... 1st dmz for myself, many tanks to all persons around, still feeling echoes of it
yeh def i kno nuffins gonna change etc.. and what i heard tune-wise was all LARGE, i aint saying the night was bad, just that the smoke ban did affect my enjoyment of it, and i kno its not affected a lot of peeps so thought wud post my experience as wellAshley wrote:Yeh its now part of the law, and I cant remember any times when some new law was drafted up and then scrapped a few weeks later.Joe C wrote:no offence mate, but I was there with a smoker and all was fine, the night went on for 8 hours, and the courtyward was a friendly nice place to chill, it worked out great, skank for an hour, have a 5 minute break for some air and/or a cigarette, go back in, repeat etcDJ Whistla wrote:yeh fo sho i smoke too much and trying to give up ciggies is a perpetual thing for me, but ultimately once i get a beer in my hand i draw for a cig, everytimeJaime wrote:surely its up to you how often you pop out for a cigarette / blaze? i think the ciggarette smokers should vacate when they want one and return and those wishing to smoke green should remain inside and be as sly as possible.. seemed to work on saturday for us lot, shame you feel like that though...
