Yeah after a few more listens, i quite like the main bulk of it i just dont think it's a good sample selection.

This is decent even though it sounds a bit like a rework of "It".

'What is good about Coki's Bedouins?'

'Coki's Bedouins is whats good about Coki's Bedouins.'

Things dont always need justified. sometimes, we can just enjoy them. try it sometime.

He's asking what you liked about it. Tbh I reckon that if it wasn't by coki, you'd be hating.

Im a total bro at heart ;-) .... Have whole alias's and label devoted to bro... halftime, lower end, gutteral, skanky bro... not 16th note kicks arps and screeches... and Im a seriiiouus sucker for ethnic sampling. I reckon if I wasnt a regular on DSF, you wouldnt assume I was sticking up for coki (who I actually skipped seeing this week)

If it wasnt by Coki, Id assume it was a new jakes tune

Tbh, I like bro too, the shit you just described sounds interesting and if your alias is secret I'd love a PM with more info. I just do not like this, it's actually boring to listen to, not badly composed, not badly produced, just boring.

And I assumed you'd back coki because you're in SNH. ;-)

After a few listens, in my opinion, it's actually not bad - definitely not a favorite, but it's listenable.
I think hearing a better quality version would make it better. The percussion sounds intense.

I think it would sound a lot better to me without that ethnic vocal sample or that eastern sounding instrument. But honestly I feel like this is a lot better than a lot of his recent stuff. I like this more than all of those tunes he put up on his soundcloud recently.

hard to believe this is even coki.

never had a problem with his tearout (even the EXTREME stuff) cause it was at least original... some of it was over the top, almost tasteless, but it was redeemed by that special, unique coki sound to it

this? it's about as generic as it gets. fucking boring. sad to see coki getting rid of everything that made his tunes great
