I met Billy Gould (bassist of Faith No More) in the crowd after a Mr. Bungle show and he was absolutely great.

I'm lucky to know and get on with many music people I genuinely look upto, peverelist, pinch, joker, Appleblim, hyetal. All absolute gentlemen.

I met a lot of the scene guys in LDN and I've yet to meet one I didn't like, coki, Mala, crazy d, pokes etc. all genuine guys.

I met three hometown heroes when I was younger, die, krust and size. First two were real nice, roni size was a bellend though. Annoyingly first time met him I was too young & starstruck to tell him to do one.

I think they deserve respect for what they have achieved, it doesn't make them a deity, but they've still achieved and contributed more to music and my own personal happiness than a LOT of others.

the more i grow as a producer the less i tend to idolize people but theres stilll some left and i dont think that will change. benn jordan aka the flashbulb for example will always be my hero (no homo ) cause he's so much more than just another producer. i dont even wanna be/sound like him, its just that his music never fails to make me feel grateful for life.

This is not related to dubstep, but I've met Shellback(Pink - So what, some Britney Spears songs, Maroon 5 - Moves like jagger) at many occasions. At first he was cool, he was actually doing some strange hardcore metal before he met up with Max Martin, he's funny and laid back... but now his ego is to big(mine would be that to if my first single sold 7million copies), and he acts like a tnuc. A usual conversation now can go like this: -"Hey, how are you Autism?" -"Oh hi! Well, it's..." -"I DON'T GIVE A FUUUUUUCK!" *walks away* xD

Had a pre-show blaze with Jeru the Damaja and DJ Susio (original Gang Starr DJ) and I gave up on conversating with Jeru because you just can't get through to him unless you're offering free Courvoisier or you're a hot woman. Having said that, I've only met about two level-headed and sound MC's so I should have been expecting it really. I've not lost any respect for his music though. Big up Susio for being so humble.

I can't say i've ever met any famous producer(s), but I did speak to Excision on his facebook page wall once about him doing a video for Existence hehe, turns out it's a possibility, the idea of which turns me on greatly

Met Amon Tobin at Bloc, he was just chilling in the main bit after his set. He was really down to earth and apologised for it being so hard to get into the main stage. Sound as fuck basically.

Coki seemed pretty down to Earth. Some dude spent like 10 minutes chatting with him about how shit brostep is and he had a friendly conversation with him about it. Unfortunately while this guy was dragging on I gave up on waiting to have a convo with him myself. I would have liked to have known if soundboy was gonna get an awd release

Saw p money at the rinse tour in brum a while back and thought it was cool that he was walking round after the set chattin to people and lettin all the pill heads take pictures with him. Me an my mate thought it was abit strange when we offered him some on our spliff and he said he don't smoke but each to his own I suppose

I was stood next to ramadanman at a jamie woon concert. I commented that they should turn the bass up on the system- he agreed.

I keep bumping into the Club Cheval dudes in Brussels because they hang out with Pelican Fly. Both crews are legend to me but it happened so many times I got used to it. I actually talked with DJ Slow when I was working in some supermarket (I know) and he was very surprsed I recognized him at all.

I spoke to Hudson Mohawke briefly at Outlook and he was a bit of a tnuc as I recall, though he was trying to speak to Rustie at the same time and I was really gurned.
Spoke to Boddika briefly at crucifix lane and he was really nice! He seemed really chilled.

Most producers are really nice and a lot have quite similar interests. know a lot of people who run into various people in London and i've yet to hear a bad story.. though saying that someone said Chunky was really rude.

i used to idolize edm producers until i realized that they can't produce until retirement. so i'm happy with my job and don't have to fear about what to do later in life.
